Seasonal CDL-A Harvest Driver

A focused six-to-eight-week assignment for experienced drivers who can commit to the full season and are prepared for a demanding harvest schedule.

What the assignment involves

Drivers transport harvested corn between field operations and the processing facility using company tractors and belt trailers. Expect long operating days during peak harvest. Most days may be shorter, and additional trips may be offered when customer operations and lawful Hours of Service allow.

Qualified out-of-area drivers may receive up to $500 in approved travel reimbursement with receipts. Exact orientation and truck-pickup details are provided before the season begins.

Dates, dispatch volume, mileage, and weekly earnings depend on weather, crop readiness, customer operations, equipment availability, and lawful Hours of Service. They are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Requirements

Professional drivers ready to commit.

Qualifications vary by assignment, but the current harvest opening requires the following.

Valid Class A CDL and current medical card
5+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Acceptable MVR and PSP under company standards
FMCSA Clearinghouse eligibility and drug test
Full-season availability and reliable attendance
Smartphone use for ELD, documents, and instructions
Ability to attend Chicago-area orientation
Professional communication and safe work habits
